We want to update you on a change, as well as an exciting opportunity, coming to the Man in the Mirror Bible Study online.
As of July 2022, we are no longer be posting the live recordings of the Friday morning Bible Study taught here in Orlando. (Rest assured, the Bible Study will continue live, and we always invite you to join us on Friday mornings at 7 a.m. if you live locally or are visiting.)
We plan on continuing to provide the audio of the Bible Study on the Man in the Mirror Bible Study podcast. This method of listening to the Bible Study has continued to grow, as many men use podcasts for a devotional during their commute or exercise time.
We will also continue to share a weekly reminder via email to tune into the Bible Study online for those of you who are subscribed. However, instead of being the live study from two weeks prior, as it has been, we will walk through one of the dozens of series already available.
I want to share with you two primary factors driving this decision, as well as an exciting announcement about the future of the video Bible Study resources we will be offering:
First of all, we are committed to excellence, and have found that recording in the venue available to us is becoming more and more difficult to do well due to a number of logistical issues.
Second, we know through our data analysis that the vast majority of our online users are not using the current study, but rather looking through the YouTube library or the library on our website for a series to do as a group. Those series will continue to be available.
And the announcement: Soon, we will be offering more current Bible study content in a new format. We will be recording new video series in a studio environment, based on the best material of the weekly teaching.
This will allow us to offer you a packaged, set-length series with a workbook and perhaps ancillary resources. We feel like this will help men engage and disciple others more effectively. This new format is also more consistent with the way most of our video Bible Study users are accessing the material.
We are always striving to adapt to the needs of you, the men we serve. We invite you to join us in prayer for this new approach, that we can continue to provide a grace-based, application-oriented Bible Study that helps engage men in meaningful relationships that change lives and build the Kingdom of God.
